Two former TikTok employees, Melody Chu and Jing Liu, have launched an iOS app called Superpose that uses AI to teach users how to pose for photos.
The app works as a camera app where users take a selfie or photo, and AI then generates four different pose suggestions. Users can save the generated poses or use a match-pose feature to try placing themselves in the suggested positions. Superpose launched in July and has been downloaded over 22,000 times, with over 190,000 poses generated total. The app offers five free generations per day, with the option to purchase more for $2.99 for five or $9.99 for twenty generations.
