The story behind Screenrecplus | Mac screen recorder with automatic zoom
Why I built it
Today, we have to pay nearly SEK 3,000 a year for exactly what this app does. It can also open your previous Screen Studio projects, from one of the world's most downloaded apps. So even if your licence there has expired, you can take back ownership of your recordings and achieve the same quality here, with a one-off payment and lifetime ownership!
How it's built
Built 100% natively in Xcode, with Cloudflare, sharp infrastructure, automatic updates and DMG installation for Mac.
The hardest part
The automatic update flow, without users having to do anything to trigger it.
