Vibekollen in your AI assistant

Discover projects people are building with AI. Search Vibekollen’s public catalog and read project presentations directly in your assistant.

Start with a question

Find two projects about media on Vibekollen. Read the first result’s presentation and link to it.

Your assistant can return project names, summaries and links to their pages on Vibekollen.

Connect your assistant

  1. Open the connection settings in an AI client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP.
  2. Add this server address: https://vibekollen.com/mcp
  3. Start a new conversation and ask your assistant to search Vibekollen. No Vibekollen account, API key or local Node.js runtime is required.

Verified with Codex CLI. Setup and availability vary by client; other clients need separate compatibility checks.

Codex CLI instructions

If Codex CLI is installed, add the connection with this command. Choose a different connection name if you already use “vibekollen”.

codex mcp add vibekollen --url https://vibekollen.com/mcp

To remove this connection later, use its name:

codex mcp remove vibekollen

What you can do

  • Search project titles, descriptions, creator names and tag names.
  • Browse the public catalog and ask for another page of results.
  • Read a returned project presentation and open its Vibekollen page.

This version only reads public presentations. It cannot submit or edit projects, upload images, access private Baskollen findings or request scans.

Results come from a public feed and may be cached. The retrieval time tells you when the feed was read, not when a project was last updated. Missing information is not filled in, and results are not ranked by relevance.

Connection and plugin availability

The hosted MCP connection is available now. The packaged plugin is being prepared for directory review and is not yet listed in the Codex directory. The current read-only version is free.
