The story behind Pontata — Paint Color Explorer
Why I built it
How do different manufacturers’ paint colors look once applied in the wall? We’ve collected hundreds of thousands of real world homes painted to help people pick a paint color.
How it's built
With Claude Code, React/Node/Typescript. Neon for database, GitHub for the repo and hosted on Vercel.
The hardest part
Finding ways to present all the data in a nice user interface.
Up next
Hopefully get crawled and indexed by major search engines for long tail paint color related search terms.
